Returns / Exchanges

What is your exchange policy?

We gladly accept exchanges of unworn and unwashed items within 90 days of purchase.

Just return the items with a copy of your  packing slip and the exchange instructions.   Once received, the replacement generally ships the next business day.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns of unworn and unwashed items within 30 days of purchase.  Orders returned after 30 days will be issued store credit.  No returns on items after 90 days.  For all returns, shipping is non-refundable and orders that received free shipping will be charged a 15% restocking fee.  For multiple item purchase with free product, discount will be applied equally between all products to determine the refund price. Refunds will be credited to the original form of payment. 

Just return the items with a copy of your packing slip indicating you are returning the item.

I am having this order sent as a gift.  Will the prices be included with the order?

No, the packing slips do not contain pricing or billing name/address information.  Packing slips only include the ship to name/address, order date, order number and list of items ordered.   If sent as a gift, the purchaser's name will not be listed.  If ordering as a gift, and you want the recipient to know who it was from, be sure to place a "note" on the order during check out. 

How long will it take to ship my order?

Orders, including express orders, ship within 3 business days.  Custom Pet Tees take a few additional days to process.  Products are shipped from California.  Shipping days are Monday through Friday, with the exception of holidays. 

Animal Hearted observes all US holidays.

Can I track my order?

Orders over 3 ounces can be tracked within the US.  When your order is packed and ready to go, you will receive an email with a tracking number.   Once you receive that tracking number, your package is ready for the postal pick-up.  Tracking will begin once the postal service make the initial scan.  It can take up to 24 hours to appear in the tracking system. The postal service picks up packages Monday - Friday, excluding holidays.

You can track your order on the USPS web site. Please note that international orders are only tracked within the US. After it leaves the US, it becomes the property of the regional postal system and is no longer tracked by the USPS.

Once your package leaves our warehouse, we no longer have control over it. We cannot change the address or redirect it to another address.   If we ship your package to the address you provided and it is returned, you will be issued a store credit for the product price less a 15% restocking fee.  Shipping is non-refundable.   

How long will it take to receive my order?

We use USPS for shipping all our packages. General delivery times are:

US:

USPS First Class Mail: 3-10 business days after ship date. Tracking information is available for packages over 3 ounces.  This is an estimated delivery time, not a guaranteed delivery.  Packages are considered delayed if they have not been received within 14 days.  

USPS Priority Mail: 1-4 business days after ship date, depending on region. Tracking information is available.  This is an estimated delivery time, not a guaranteed delivery.  Packages are considered delayed if they have not been received within 7 days.  

USPS Express Mail: 1 - 2 business days after ship date, depending on region.  Tracking information is available.  

International:

USPS First Class International: 2-6 weeks after ship date.   Detailed tracking information is not offered with this service.  Tracking is only within the US. Packages are considered delayed if they have not been received within 38 days.  International delivery times vary greatly by region.  Please be aware that we are not responsible for lost, stolen or misdirected packages.

Special note for international orders:

Import duties, taxes, charges, and/or Value-Added Taxes (VAT) (customs fees) are not included in the  item price or shipping cost of your order.  These charges are the buyer's responsibility.  These fees are calculated at the shipping destination and must be paid upon delivery. Fees will vary, depending on the destination country.  Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to placing your order.

Animal Hearted is located in the US and all orders are processed in US dollars. International customers are encouraged to pay using PayPal. 
  

Do you ship to all international location?  

We ship to most international locations.  At this time, we are not able to ship to the following countries:

Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Burma, Congo, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast (Cote d’Ivoire), Liberia, Mexico, Nigeria, North Korea, Paraguay, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Venezuela.

  

I never received my package. What do I do?

If you have not received your package within 14 days (US) or 38 days (international) please contact USPS. Use the tracking information that was sent to you and file a form to trace your order. You can find that on their web site:

They will guide you through the process of trying to find your missing package. Please be aware that we are not responsible for lost, damaged, stolen or misdirected packages.

 

What if I received a damaged or incorrect product?

It doesn't happen often, but if you receive a defective or incorrect item please complete the contact form.  Let us know your order number and what you received.  We will contact you within 24 business hours.

What size do I order?

The basic size chart is located in each product description.  You can also find more detailed information on our size chart page.  The best way to find your size is to measure your favorite t-shirt.  

Width: Measured across the garment one inch below the armholes.

Length: Measured from neck trim down to the bottom of the garment.

 

 

 

How is your apparel printed?

All of our tees are printed using top of the line water based inks. This process makes for an extremely comfortable print, as the ink is absorbed into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it. Once you wash your garment for the first time, the ink will completely set into the fabric. 

 

Does your apparel shrink?

All of our apparel contains cotton, and cotton will shrink.  Our cotton 100% cotton tees are preshrunk, but you can expect some additional shrinkage.  If you plan on washing/drying your garments frequently, our shirts will shrink between 3-5%. If you do not want your product to shrink -  we recommend washing in cold water and hang drying them only.

By providing an email address when 1) creating an account with Animal Hearted, 2) making a  purchase from the website, and/or 3) signing up for our Newsletter, Animal Hearted may email you about special promotions, product updates and/or events. You can unsubscribe at any time.

 

Do you ever offer a discount? 

On occasion, Animal Hearted will offer a discount code to our email subscribers. Discounts cannot be used when any other special offer is applied to an order, such as "Buy Two Get One Free."  During any "Buy Two Get One Free" sales, third item must be added to the cart before check out.  The discount code will automatically apply.  

If using a discount code, the first step is to begin the checkout process. After entering the billing and shipping information, click “continue to next step.” The next screen will allow you to enter your discount code. Only one special offer or discount can be applied per order. 

 

Can I exchange an item I received for free?  

At times, we may include a factory second or promo item free of charge with an order.  These items can not be exchanged or returned.  If you do not like it or can not use the free gift, feel free to re-gift it.  Pass it along to someone else you think might be able to enjoy it!
