Here’s the list of the top 10 male and female dog names from rover.com.  Be sure to check their website for the full rundown of dog naming trends for 2016…like does Game of Thrones overtake Harry Potter in pop culture names, and what are the most popular food names for dogs (aww…Peaches!).

I love Shrek, therefore our female dog is named Fiona after Princess Fiona in the Shrek movies. Fits her to a tee, only she is the Queen of the house!

My female dog is named Shellie. She origionally was Michelle! Foster family called her Shellie. She was two yrs. old.
My female dog before her was named Katie. We kept Katie. She was a year old.
    Both adopted and pre-named.
I don’t think it is appropriate to change a name they have been called their whole life. Only adds to more confusion for the dog. thanks, Lori
