Looking to give your gerbil a little physical—and mental—exercise? Check out this YouTube video of a cute little gerbil named Salt who quickly masters a homemade cardboard maze. At first Salt pokes around the maze, exploring every corner, but after just a few runs, Salt realizes there’s a quick way out to a waiting food bowl. Of course, a lot of the commenters report that their gerbils would eat a cardboard maze, so you could always try another construction material if your little guy loves to gnaw on cardboard!
