Video: Dogs Rescued from Korean Dog Meat Farm Get Second Chance at Life

Make sure that box of tissues is nearby before you watch this moving video from National Geographic about two sweet dogs, named Kaya and Robin, rescued from a dog meat farm in Korea. While these two pups were saved from a terrible fate, the emotional scars from their horrific experiences remained. They were taken to the ASPCA’s Behavioral Rehabilitation Center, located on the grounds of the noted animal welfare organization St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center in Madison, New Jersey.

The dog rehab center cares for dogs that are under-socialized, fearful, and have other behavioral problems that prevent them from being adopted. The two fearful dogs from Korea required lots of patient care and attention, but just wait until you see the amazing breakthroughs they made. Watch as they are transformed from two incredibly frightened creatures into happy, friendly, and adoptable pets!
